Aaron & Rona Michelson's page
Allow me to introduce us.
This is me (Rona)
And this is my husband Aaron
The pictures were taken a while back, but we haven't really changed
much (but one of us has grown a lot of hair on our face.)
We live in Modi'in Israel.
Aaron is a retired U.S. army chaplain
and pulpit rabbi and I am a family therapist and AAMFT
approved
supervisor with a DSW from The University
of Pennsylvania .
I do short-term therapy both in Israel and seminars, workshops and groups
on family life and Jewish family life all over the world.
We have five children:
-
Ben who does customer support for Frontline
PCB Solutions and is married to Ilana
who
has a PhD in genetics,
and is soon to be a popular children's author. Ben and Ilana are the parents
of Tzvi Eviatar, born on Dec 29, 1993, Elizabeth (Elisheva) Batya, born
on Dec 20, 1996, Avital, born on Feb 21, 1998, and Dina born on Sept 7,
1999.
-
Rachel who
is married to Moshe Arik. They live in Modiin and are the parents of Hadas
Mazal, born on Oct 15, 1993 and Matan and Lilach born on Jun 6, 1996.
I taught Rachel everything she knows about socks.
-
Sam who lives in
Alon Shevut and works at Banter and
is married to Ofira who is a
dentist.
They are the parents of Daniel Michelson, born on Apr 3, 1996 and Yonatan
born on Mar 27, 1998 and Yehuda born March 7, 1999.
-
Akiva, who is working at Intel managing
a verification group, and is married to Nurit, a perdiatric intensive care
nurse
in
the cardiac surgery department of Sha'arey Tzedek Hospital. They live in
Jerusalem
and are the parents of Ariel Michelson who was born on Sep 20, 1997.
-
Leah who does customer support
at eNvelopes.com and studies English
linguistics at Bar Ilan University. (Leah is also a recovering IRC
addict.)
We do have a large extended family. There is Aaron's father, Rabbi A.
Elihu Michelson who lives in with us in Modi'in, and my sister, Vicki
Mager who lives in Philadelphia, PA. OK, so large is a relative
term. In our case, two relatives. Of course, recently we have
been in touch with lots of our extended family and have even found some
new relatives. Especially beloved are our cousins Lori
Barstow and Phyllis Tizer.
